Mohmand Agency: In a remote-control bomb-blast At checkpost of Khasadar forces and Aman Committee, 6 volunteers killed along one passing man, and 5 wounded. In a District Baizei of the Agency, the area Bhai Dak, some militants did a remote-control bomb-blast at the joint check post of Khasadar forces & Aman Committee. The Leader ‘Mahbub Khan’ of the Khasadar forces along a passing man ‘Fawaad’ & 6 volunteers of Aman Committee: Bakht Meran, Mian Sahab, Noor Muhammad & Ahmad Shah died at the blast time, although 5 volunteers seriously injured, those include Bilal s/o Mani Haji, Gul Zada, Sub-Leader of the District, Shafi Khatak & Bilal s/o Gul Zada. They were transfered to Peshawar for the medical aid. According to some people, The spokesman of the Tehrik-e-Taliban, Akram-ullah has accepted the responsibility of the bomb blast, here it is said that Aman Committee & the forces did checked the vehicles used between Pak-Afghan Highway & asked them for Tax (daily!), and they did empty the check-post at night.
Though at District Safi’s area Ziarat Pahari, one labor killed by mountain landslide, he Fazal Khaliq belonged to ShatiKor area, Haleemzai, District Mohmand Agency, another labor working along him was wounded.
Meanwhile a dead-body has been found at Sub-Division YakaGhand’s area Melanchi Zarif Korona of Mohmand Agency, but anyone has not accepted the responsibility yet.
Meanwhile Second Political Agent Mohmand Amjad Ali Khan has announced to give a joint fund of Rs. 430,000/- for the victims of the bomb-blast attack at check-post.
